Hot Club d’Afrique plays the music of the golden era of European Swing.

We celebrate and recreate the music and style of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli with the Quintette du Hot Club de France.

Our repertoire includes popular songs and melodies of the era as well as French cafe chançons , and contemporary popular tunes in the gypsy jazz style.

Hot Club d’Afrique has been performing gypsy jazz since 2008.

We are based in South Africa and are available for functions and weddings in and around Johannesburg, KwaZulu Natal Midlands and the Cape Town region.
